Changes to First Aid at Work Regulations

04/10/2013

On the 1st of October the First Aid at Work Regulations changed. Mark Wheeldon of Practical Compliance Today explains: "In the past the Health & Safety Executive had to approve First Aid Training Providers who wished to run the First Aid at Work training Course. This approval requirement has now been removed. This does have a practical implication in the work place as now Employers must carefully consider their selection criteria when considering which First Aid Training Provider to use and the type of Course that they wish to send their Employees on."
